The entire country of South Africa seemed to be united in mourning with the passing of their "father," Nelson Mandela. Mandela's life, decency and leadership skills recall the wisest advice about keeping the courage of our convictions. This was a person who encountered and withstood severe pressures along the way to become the towering figure we know him as today. In all of our creative endeavors, we must feel the fear, know the fear, understand the fear, and then act, to calm the fear. That's an enduring message that Nelson Mandela brought to the world.
